In 2008, Toy Designer Jubi from Taiwan has invited 29 artists from worldwide to present 'Bushi Gakki' and 'Bushido' in various ways and styles, as well as enhancing the creativity art in Taiwan. After the successful exhibition in Taipei Shilin Citizen Hall, Jubi will hold another new Bushi Gakki show @ FIDI space, Taipei starting on 10th April till 3 May 2009. More fantastic designers are invited this time like DGPH (Argentina), Feebee (Japan), SuperNature (China), Daybreak (China), Jason Rabbit (Taiwan) & many more. Of course i wont miss out participating this great event, so stay tune for my new design update! This time Jubi release my favourite color - Bushi Gaskki black version (I wan! I wan! I wan!)
KL Design Week has started its run from 28th March till 4 April 2009. Lotsa happening design event & conferences will held thoughout the whole week. All apple plush toy are hand made & every each has different expression. Im too shy to buy an Mari apple so i asked my sister to get one for me, and it ends up my sister owned the apple, cause it's too cute and she don't let me have it. Michael Chuah (a.k.a C2V) plays his role as a character designer and comic book artist. His comic serials “Gengkey” is the first comic in Malaysia to create a vinyl figure. In 2005, he produced "Gengkey 100 - The Character Guide" – his first character design book that featured 100 characters that appeared in "Gengkey".
In 2003 Michael and two of his friends teamed up and formed The Gilamon Studio. The studio specialises in graphic storytelling, character design and graphic design. So far, they have released a series of mini comics, T-shirts, posters and a list of merchandise.
Fours year later, Michael set up Roots Studio, another creative branding company with his partner. Their first shot was running “Summer Wonder 2007” for Kenny Wong of Kennyswork from Hong Kong.
Currently, Michael’s been fiddling with his new character series called "The Never Ending Tales" and is eager to introduce them to you this coming New Year. More activities coming on their way!
